Is the defensive driving course or do I have a ticket to deferred adjudication?

I received a speeding ticket in Arlington, TX 13 miles more to go, but I'm confused a bit. Do I have to lower deferred adjudication for my ticket (which also says I have to take defensive driving since I have 22) or I can do defensive driving to get it dismissed?

Defend his case properly and the couple with defensive driving to avoid tickets.
