Traffic Class eligibility CA?
Hi I received three tickets so far in 3 years .. For the first (right insurance – got in December 2007) was kind of traffic (Mar 2008) The second – in March 2009 have red-light violation – not in 18 months so I thought that I am not eligible for Traffic class – pay the fine a Third – Apr 2010 – Speeding (on I-5, CA 80 mph on the highway 70 mph) – am I eligible for this kind of traffic occasion? None of them are Mis-demanors .. I'm up beyond 18 months for the kind of traffic, but not the second violation within 18 months, so I am confused whether I am eligible. I have 25 +. Please let me know if I am eligible. I live in Fremont, Alameda County, California
Yes, you can attend traffic school if you have not been there in 18 months. It's been over 18 months, although you have had a violation to intervene. By the way, do not assume you can not go to traffic school, even if its been less than 18 months. The California Vehicle Code states that if they attended a class in the last 8 hours 12 months (from date rape), you can go to traffic school for 12 hours at the discretion of a judge. Since it seems to stop a lot can consider fighting the ticket. There are plenty of options available. Take some field work and can not succeed, but in the end you still would be eligible for traffic school.
