got a speeding ticket and need advice?

i got a speeding ticket on 6-3-2010 in the state of california i was going 83 on a 70 limit. i go to court on 7-8-2010 so i need any advice on what to do when i got to court i know im guilty but what should i expect i know im going to have to pay a fine.but is there a way for my fine to go lower and can i request traffic school and if so can i do it online?Basically what im asking for is anything that will help me reduce the price of my ticket and hopefully not gain no points on my drivers license for this traffic violation.so any help full advice on this will greatly be appreciated.

If you pay the fine, plus a little extra, you can do traffic school, assuming you haven’t had another moving violation in the last 18 months. The process varies somewhat by county. If you plead not guilty and go to the court date, the fine usually gets dropped a little, but the judge can take traffic school off the table. The only way you are guaranteed to have traffic school available is to plead guilty and pay the ticket.
