What are the laws for speeding tickets in Illinois with a CDL license? How many are you allowed?

you are allowed 2 major infractions before your cdl license is suspended….u can still drive a car but not a big rig. it will be suspended for 30 days…a third infraction will result in 1yr suspension.
many companies and their insurance providers frown on speeding tickets but just flinch at seat belt infractions. many will let a driver go with 2 speeding tickets as they can’t afford the higher insurance premiums.

my suggestion: if u got a speeding ticket, hire an atty in that specific county. pay them their ridiculous fee (usually $500-$700) and the speeding ticket will be knocked down to a seat belt infraction. you can make up the atty’s fee over a month or so, how many jobs can u find so u can feed ur family with 1 or more speeding tickets on your record.
