Chesapeake Speeding Ticket
2005

Can a Speeding Ticket Virginia be fired if you have the correct date, but the wrong day of the week? ?
I have received a speeding ticket in Chesapeake is going to go from 41 to 35 zone. I noticed the officer wrote the correct date (12-16-08), but the wrong day of the week (Monday). I wonder if that was enough to get the ticket dismissed because it can not be sure that the date which related to the offense to have occurred on?
No. wrongs do not make valid appointments. The only time I've ever seen one fired due to an error when the error is directly related to the crime. In this case, speeding is illegal in both Monday and Tuesday, so the court will not be affected. One of two things will happen. Either the judge amended the bill with the correct day, or the judge may rejected the bill and order issued by another officer with the correct information. It is likely that the clerk catches it, and will be amended, even before they appear.
