Speeding in Child safe zone.?
I have 15 yrs of driving record with no ticket so far.
I live in Texas and was visiting Chicago on long weekend. I stop at a stop sign. Then proceed to drive 0.2 miles to the next stop sign and turn left. A cop then pulls me over and tickets me for speeding 34 in a 20 children present on the road. He said he caught me on radar. I don’t believe it as I don’t believe I did this.
I just want to pay fine and be done ,but now I have a ticket where court appearance is needed and I don’t live in IL.
Any suggestions what can be done?
