college park speeding tickets
Potential to become a police officer on charges dropped, had a bad driving record (no tickets for 8 years)?

I have a degree 4 year college, but made some poor decisions in late adolescence. I was arrested on drug charges, but charges were dropped 11 years ago and I can delete the record. My driving record was bad (several violations), but not DUI and I have only one parking ticket in the last 8 years. Is it possible to become a cop?

You are probably eligible for hire. What can hold up a research fund local records. Our county records are still available and are used even when court records are deleted. Possibly, it is proved not to a department in his hometown area that can have a better chance. The police field is very competitive. There will be many police applicants eligible. The most important is how responsible you are now. The fact that they have not received a ticket in eight years says a lot. Good luck.
