cost speeding ticket virginia
Am I going to put in jail for violating the law of acceleration GS 20-141 (J1)?

I have a speeding ticket today in Greensboro, North Carolina Guilford County. I was driving 88MPH in a 65 mph zone. The road was empty and the weather was clear, so I paid no attention to the speed driven. I know I have to appear before the court in 2 months later. This is the first time I've had a speeding ticket. I did some research and I'm scared to know that GS 20-141 (J1) is a Class 2 misdemeanor, which could be 1 to 60 days in jail. REALLY? I am very scared. I am a 23 year old student international old and have been licensed to drive for 2 years. I live in Virginia, however. I guess I should find a lawyer to myself. Do you know how it cost? Please answer me as soon as possible. I'm so scared now. Thank you very much!

23 miles per hour speed limit is driving reckless in North Carolina. However, the Guilford County Courthouse, will not put you in jail. They'll be fine, and will be the end of it -. Stuart
