Can you become a teacher if you have a criminal record?

Does anyone hire someone to be a teacher if you have a criminal record -? Fire I, no other crimes of any kind, not so much as a speeding ticket – Crime committed as a minor, but was sentenced as an adult, so it is in its history adult.

In public schools? No way. In a private school or community college? Maybe your friend should just go talk to school superintendents groups and universities to see what they have to say.
