Dekalb Speeding Tickets

Getting off on a speeding ticket?
I got pulled over for 24 over. The officer said I was going 59 in a 35. The ticket indicates he got me on laser but he never asked if I would like it calibrated. I’m sure I probably was speeding though I’m not sure I was going that fast.
What is the likelyhood that I could get off if I appear in court? I’ve always heard that if the officer doesn’t show up you stand a very good chance of getting off? Should I plead not guilty or no-lo? Is it even worth it or should I just take the ticket and pay?
This happened in Dekalb County, GA.
He doesn’t have to ask if you would like it calibrated……where do people get these insane ideas?
You don’t “stand a very good chance of getting off” if the officer doesn’t show up.
You stand a great chance that they’ll reshedule, and you’ll have to spend another day in court.
You should plead guilty, because you are guilty.
You say it yourself, you think you were speeding, but have no idea how fast you were going…..What makes you think you aren’t guilty?
Take responsibility for your actions like an adult, pay the ticket, and learn your lesson.
- Have a good one.
