Incorrect birth date on speeding fine – NSW?

Today I received a fine (I can not really afford), I have no doubts i may have been go the speed limit, but I was slowing down to turn a corner and the police still has me by a maximum fine and 3 demerit points. I just noticed that like putting the wrong birth date on the ticket, is this really important or I can avoid having to pay $ 243??

The Court has two options – one to amend the entry into the courtroom with the permission of the accused or rewrite the entry by placing the correct date of birth on the ticket. The ticket is not dismissed by an administrative error.
