demon speeding song

If our perception or perceived physical limits of the product of our mind as many suggest? If so, why does the mind produce and impose restrictions about us? Is it that we are born lazy and Mind thrives developed ambitions to restore, or is a biological protective mechanism? Not surprisingly, documented how little science on this issue, two recent studies based on mice seem to suggest a genetic link to laziness, but nothing has been published in humans human. However, there are some quotes that make the athletes think we know (Source: swim-city.com)

In training all focused on 90% physical and 10% mental, but in the careers of its 90% mental, because there is little that separates us physically at the elite level

– Elka [AUS] Graham

I would not say that nothing is impossible. I think anything is possible if you put your mind to it and put the work and the time

– Michael Phelps [USA]

Initially, these statements from the mouth of a gold following our inclination evoke spontaneous coming the triumphant athlete's mouth. But a closer look merit remains the 90/10 rule? Is 10% of real mental power sufficient to energize the will of participate in the 90% physical test? Or, is it really all (physically) possible as we put our mind to it? Yes, these appointments are to be interpreted on a metaphorically rather than literally, and certainly there is a hint of motivation for them. At least we are not left to believe that Michael Phelps records are unbreakable, so no excuse for not trying.

However, the reference is set too high and to get even close requires a full time commitment. But more than that: it requires a physiology that can handle the physical demands required. Why would anyone with a realistic assessment of what is required, participate in physical training, without prior assessment of physiological viability? But do not want to challenge Michael Phelps or any other records cover athlete. Hardly anyone has some dreams (Hidden) to be able to demonstrate an impressive physical performance and mental euphoria is really know about one's energy and strength available when needed. This leads to the question "Why?" Why are we living our lives without knowing our physical ability and potential?

Controls standard medical compare the numbers of normal vital signs against an arbitrary standard and the amount obtained results to measure malfunction but never evaluate a person's specific lifestyle or goal oriented physical capacity. That is because our health systems are not structured to serve healthy, although We are so accustomed to the "system" than the alternatives do not come to mind: the measurement of physical health and potential – rather than the symptoms and limitations!

Why should we know

  • To prevent injury or impairment of a permanent body – immediately or many years later
  • to prevent the mind to attract you to "the limits of convenience"
  • be able to set the pace perfect for reaching your goal or dream

Prevention of organ failure or permanent injury – immediately or many years later

Almost all sports injuries are preventable, occurring because of over-exertion, misjudgments, inadequate preparation or equipment, and simply not knowing the proper limit. No driving inexperienced enter a Formula 1 race, but anyone can sign up for a marathon without previous training at all. Similarly, I have seen people in shorts and sandals to try to climb the Matterhorn. I above "health check and a medical "Healthy" clearance, of course, does not extend to "carte blanche" to challenge a rock 15000 "or runs 25 miles of concrete. The competitive athletes are particularly vulnerable to wear and delayed "erosion" symptoms, such as arthritis. Early detection limits staff hardware as possible to prevent chronic diseases by nutritional supplementation.

Prevent the mind to attract you to "the limits convenience "

That is the debate all over prolonged inner voice, the battle with the body that says: stop smoking, you've reached your limit, you weak if it continues … and the mind which says, that coward, you are lazy, you could be on that podium receiving a gold medal. Because we do not know our physical limits, we can deprive us of victory, or we are forced to give up a contest because overestimated our capacity. A truly optimal effect any physical training requires knowledge of their own physical limits and potential.

Ability to set the perfect pace to reach your goal or dream

No matter what sport to do, is very competitive and competition requires a relentless training. Often difference between winning and not winning is measured in fractions of seconds. Obviously, there is no room for guesses and probabilities. You have to know the functions of your body and its capabilities to the cellular level. Who want to impress, even if only to yourself, you need to know – not guess – how far we can wield, to reach the finish line first – only to drop dead, do not make a big winner! By contrast, a seemingly weak and humble artist who is fully aware of their physical, may pose an increased willingness an impressive and surprising victory. Winning today requires strategy, tactics and stealth operations, leaving its competitors in the dark about his upcoming movement – and that requires that you know what moves you have at your disposal.

Finally, why be a couch potato interested in discovering the capabilities own physical? Because most sedentary people have no motivation to do something physical. I have heard many excuses as police motorcycle proverbial delivery of a speeding ticket, but the most common: I have no time. That's the best reason for a person to test the physical latency and capacity limits, as with the time that knowledge of physical activity can be rationalized. However, in many cases the person rapidly becomes inactive active when they discover their true potential, which was completely underestimated.
