Denver Speeding Ticket Fines
2001

Out of state license in CA?
I got a misdemeanor ticket(12500) for not having a license in 2007. I had my international license from Japan at that time, and I got pulled over for speeding. I was trying to expain to the officer that I was from Japan for work, but he gave the ticket. I took care of the case by simply paying the fine at the court. Here is my question. I live in Denver, Colorado for work now , and I hold a valid colorado driver’s license. If I go to California for a vacation, and I drive a car in california. Is there any possibility of getting another misdemeanor ticket for not having california licens? Im afraid that when they look into my infomation and they find out that I got misdemeanor ticket in the past, they might give me another misdemeanor ticket. I will probably rent a car or borrow my friend’s car. But I want to make sure that I am safe to drive in california. Please help me
You are ok for 30 days after you have moved into CA. Otherwise you are a visitor and can drive on your out of state license.
You got a ticket before for speeding. Do not speed in California. Well, not in any state but California is known for their sharp eyed motorcycle cops.
