DMV says I have a speeding ticket in any way, record is wrong?
HI, I went to DMV to obtain a change of address my California driver's license, only to be told by the lady who works there that she could not do that for me bcause my record says I have a note saying he was cited for speeding in October in a town 34 miles away from where I live, and on a date I'm at work, what I can to get it removed, I called the LA County courthouse, and they want to send a letter with my explanation, and a few copys of my signature. Do not want to get into trouble as mine isn't somethng.
I say – if they want you to send a letter and signatures. . . then – will send a letter with signatures from a file. If you have a copy of a card of time or pay stub to show they were working on that day, or you can get a note from your employer that shows you're at work that day (and that their work does not imply that travel to the city is 34 miles away), then send also -. Make copies of everything you send it, because if these steps do not resolve the problem, you may want to consult with a lawyer of his. letter should include: 1) The date of the acceleration 2) The acceleration time 3) The location of the acceleration 4) The license plate number 5) The name of the officer issuing the ticket 6) Your explanation (excuse) 7) Anyone who can verify his alibi (name / #) always be respectful – after all, these documents may be submitted to the court at a later date, and if you say in the letter, "I was not in that city damn, "the judge I do not care if they were there or not.
