Law on static speed cameras in the UK. Is it true ….?
if you do not receive notification of exceeding the limit rate within a period of 14 days can not receive fixed penalty points or a fine …? I was in the car with my brother .. We were chatting and then realized that was 35 mph in a country lane 30 mph. It is quite possible that receivepoints as a friend of mine to be 32 mph in a 30 mph zone! If this is not true about the notification period of 14 days …. legal experts out there? Do not see a flash but that was only because they were too busy looking at the speedometer. So do not now if it was I'm afraid.
If you go over 10% higher than the speed limit ie 67 in a 60 or 56 in a 50 zone then you can earn points and a fine. I have points and a fine of 34 in a 30 zone. It can take up to a month for the fine, etc come through – no time limit on it.
