Caught speeding. 59 mph in a 30 limit?

I was wandering if anyone has had similar, I know it falls on the media to do more 23 to 29 mph over the limit. But I am confused as to whether I'll get a fixed penalty of 6 points or if you have to go to court. And I get a ban? Very worried and ashamed. I really really didn't realize it was going fast so please do not answer as I feel pretty horrible wrong. I have 3 points on my license now, but here is where it gets complicated.
