florida speeding class
question about a speeding ticket?

i got a ticket in florida for going 19 over, ive never had a ticket in my life and im only 20 so i dont want my insurance rates to be insane cause im poor. On the back of the ticket one of the options is

note: if your driver license tag, registration, or insurance was valid at the time the citation was issued, you may present the driver license, tag, registration or proof of insurance within 30 days to clerk of court, and the charge will be dismissed. A fee may be assessed.

Does that mean if i go to the court and just show them those documents I can just get off with a small fee @_@ . Besides paying the fee the other option is taking a class and getting the points dropped, does anyone know how much those classes generally run and would it lower my fine? Thank you for you help

No, that means if you got a ticket for not having or presenting a driver license tag, registration, or insurance, you can submit proof it was in effect and the ticket will be dismissed.
You got a ticket for speeding, not for not having a driver license tag, registration, or insurance.

Nice try though.
