speeding in Atlanta,Ga.?

I was caught going 24mph over the speed limit yet I cannot pay my fine without appearing in court,what does that mean?Will my license be revoked or maybe probation?I know the amount of the fine but yet they say I must appear in court.That sounds bad to me.Please reply only if you know the laws in Ga.

But no, since it was over 20 miles over the limit you have to appear. That is just thier courts way of being a pain for people who speed too fast.

When you appear, if it is city court normally you don’t even really appear, you go to court, the clerk before it starts hands out a paper that asks you to plead guilty or not guilty, if you put down guilty, normally they just take you back to the clerk to pay. Even if you have to see the judge, you just go back to the bank and pay your fine.

It is still no big deal
