Georgia Speeding Fines Increase
2010

With the economy in ruins, the cities around the country to offset declining revenue goal of accelerating the divers. However, this is nothing new, but has reached staggering proportions that seem worth mentioning.
Not only the number of violations has increased in recent years, but fines for those offenses were fired. What was once a ticket for $ 100 five years ago, has grown to $ 300, $ 400 and $ 500 or more in many areas of the country.
Making Maryland and Kansas, for example … in 2002 the maximum penalty speeding tickets for these states were about $ 300. That figure is now $ 500. maximum fine of Utah permitted by law is $ 700 above $ 400 a few years ago.
If you think it's bad, there are several states that fines have doubled in the past years. If you get a speeding ticket in Nevada, Georgia, Illinois, or (to name a few) can potentially be beaten by a fine of $ 1000!
States are quick to mention the "security" as the main reason for the increases. Presumably, more severe punishments for people to think twice before speeding in the future. As true as it is, I think it's obvious even to a retarded monkey that security has nothing to do with it.
Stiffer penalties I really only do two things … innocent civilians to drain what little money you have and to channel more money into income funds. Period.
Security is not a primary concern would have you believe.
Higher fines are a direct result of greedy politicians to find a quick way make extra money in this recession we're currently in.
Instead of putting their heads together and come up with innovative ways to increase revenue … increase traffic tickets is a quick and easy way out of a bad situation. And we as law-abiding Americans have to suffer as a result.
State went so far recently introduced tougher sentences in American history. Virginia, in July 2007, added what is called a "civil repair rate all traffic citations. This means that a driver convicted of speeding not only face a fine of up to $ 2,500, but a penalty Added to it civil in the amount of $ 350 a year during the next 3 years!
And you thought that his condition was hard on speeding motorists.
