Speeding ticket in Georgia?

I have 17 years and I have a speeding ticket for doing 70 in a 45. I appear in my next court date month. What happened was that my friend was very sick and I was trying to take her home as quickly as possible and not paying attention to my speed. Do you think if I I am honest and defend my case so I can get out of a suspension? Is there any way to ask you to pay a huge fine or do community service in lieu of suspension too?

Taking someone to the hospital is an emergency. Having your home is not. Achieve a reduction of the fine or suspension will be at the discretion of judge.
