How do i fight a speeding Ticket?
The Story: I Drive Taxi, I was Driving a passenger to work in North Chicago IL, although the p[posted speed limit was 30MPH i was keeping up with the flow going at 45MPH a cop pulled me over takes my id and leaves me a ticket stating it i pay a cash bond of 75$ right there & then i can get my ID back..
At about that time 6 other drivers pas by at 45MPH and one at 55 (none received tickets) i believe this is unfair and would like to successfully fight it so any info pertaining to local laws that may help me…
Unfortunately, if you were speeding, you deserve a fine. It makes no difference how many other cars were speeding, don’t be a sheep.
Like I read in a mag once, a guy got pulled over while doing the same speed as everyone else on the road, when asked why he was the only one pulled over the cop replied “Have you ever been fishing?” The guy said yes, to which the cop said “And have you ever caught every fish in the river?”
Pay your fine, suck it up like a man and don’t do it again.
