Help!! How to get first speeding ticket off my record from Piatt County, Illinois?

I’m 27 and just got my first speeding ticket while on my way to a wedding 86 mph in a 65 (21mph over) in Piatt County, Illinois. I had no clue I was going that fast since I was scrambling looking for the right mapquest directions to the church and started to slow down…but obviously too late. Anyways, it’s my first ticket and I’d really rather have it off my record. It says no court appearance and I don’t live anywhere near there, do I have to show up the day my ticket is due to ask for court supervision. Also can you get it for 21mph over? I hear about people doing this all the time online.

You don’t. Even if you could get court supervision, that is the form of punishment. The ticket is still on your record. ANYTHING you hear about people doing all the time online is probably a myth.
