Can anyone give me an overview of the history of Final Fantasy X?

I saw a youtube video (Imogen heap speeding cars) that had clips of what I believe Final Fantasy X is seemed pretty interesting and was curious about the story / characters / etc. You may want to watch the video before answering because they do not know if the clips were taken out of context, but it looks like an amazing story.

WORD. It's my favorite game of all time. Unfortunately, to you really tell the whole story would be A.) ruin the game for you, and B) Being too long to put in a post. The best place to find the story, however, if you is insistent on ruining the experience, would Wikipedia.org. Just search for Final Fantasy X, and give all the details. * * However, my advice to you would buy only the game and see for yourself. It's $ 20 that will not be lost after this, for sure.
