Speeding ticket in Indiana?

I got a speeding ticket last month and my court date is coming up. I have to go because im under 25. When i go to court, what do you have to do. Do you have to talk to the judge or do you just pay it to someone else and thats it. If I take defensive driving school do i still have to pay the ticket or just the cost of defensive driving school which is 50 dollars.

If it was your first ticket…you can ask for the deferral Program and then just pay a fine and don’t get caught again for anything in a year and that’s it. But if it’s not your first ticket…….just bring your check book!
