Speed in Indiana and get fined $1,000?!? Is this someone’s idea of a JOKE, or are they out of their minds?
This might achieve a slow-down objective, if strictly enforced. But if so, Indiana’s name will be MUD with motorists everywhere. And countless people who can do it without much inconvenience will simply AVOID contact with Indiana, when travelling. (As a former resident of Decatur and then Fort Wayne, IN — if this mindlessness is true, then I am VERY glad NOT to be living in Indiana anymore!
And the irony!! Home state of the Indianapolis Speedway!
I live in Osceola, IN and we have one cop that we have named Barney and he is widely known for issuing speeding tickets for an excess speed of 1 mile an hour over the speed limit! And that is no joke!
I loved the way you stated the irony of the Home State of the Indy Speedway!
