I have 5 points speeding in Ireland and now want to make sure my engine in the UK, I have to count the points?

I have 5 points speeding Southern Ireland and now I can change my license in the UK. I want to assure my engine in the United Kingdom, I have to tell the insurance company in the United Kingdom I have 5 points to driving. This will increase the policy.
