Late / Speeding Ticket = MO unpaid suspension in Iowa?

Hi all, I've been all together with the balance of my accounts and keep a steady job. I work as a contractor for Robert Half, well, there are large gaps of unemployment and all my bills for example, Best Buy, Quest, etc. car insurance accumulate all. I have always intended to pay my fee, but needed to clear break where I could pay a $ 100 ticket. Well, I just Iowa received word that as of 05/02/2008 my license is suspended unless I could provide proof that the state of Missouri has received the payment. Does this mean if I pay or not, I am suspended? Where was the notice saying that "you are late, pay or be suspended for this date?" Now, I used to ask (What I like to do) a father to lend me the money to pay this speeding ticket, but I'm not even sure this is still going to make a difference at this point. You must pay the ticket, then Iowa visit and that should restore your license. Otherwise if you get stopped again. will charge and a fine for driving while suspended. It just keeps adding up. Go talk to the agency where I got the original ticket and take care of it. In this way its over and done with and you can go ahead.
