Kansas Speeding Ticket Laws
2004
I have a speeding ticket! It's my first! Please help! What are my options?!
I have my first speeding ticket the other day ago. My record was squeaky clean until then. The ticket was in Lenexa, KS. Going 99 in a 65 mph zone. I have already paid the bill online, but the court date is not until 3 February. Is it true you could pay an extra $ 200 and get the ticket off my record in accordance with the law of Kansas? How do I go about doing this? Do I have a lawyer? Actually I have little money and I'm really debt, so I'm trying to get this off my record and my record back to the way it was cheaply as possible. What other options do I have in Kansas? PLEASE HELP SOON!
I'm not sure of the laws in Kansas, but in Florida if you is caught going 30 mph or more over the speed limit, has a mandatory court appearance and a heavy fine. When you go to the judge, ask if you can get the award withheld. That way your insurance will not rise.
