Ky Speeding Ticket Fines

Ticket in Kentucky, lives in Ohio.?

I received a ticket in Kentucky for over 21 speed, careless driving and following nearby. I can pay the ticket without going to court, but fear that my license will be revoked if I do. Do points transfer from Kentucky to Ohio? The fine is only $ 234, less misleading information I have found are 13 points for this ticket. I have some points on my license so it already looks very bad. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!

As stated above me, yes, points and fines will be reported to Ohio in the DLC. In Ohio (I live and work here too) lose your license at 12 points. Given that already have some points, it gets so far over the edge that does not get your license for at least 3 years. Best advice in this case would be hiring a good traffic lawyer to see the magic that can make for you in court. With a little luck, you can negotiate some of these below ground and reduce the points to be evaluated. Yes, it will be expensive, but the downside is losing his license for several years and then pay high risk insurance when you get back. In generally cheaper in the end by hiring the lawyer. Good luck and I hope this is helpful
