Virginia Law re: speeding tickets, need help.?

My first ticket ever, is it best to just take the ticket and go to driver improvement school and have the points taken off my record or should I go through the trouble of having my speedometer checked? Will I then be fined for improper equipment?

Your speedometer won’t matter. You rarely beat tickets. The best thing to do is go to traffic school and have the points taken off, and drive carefully for awhile.

I guess it wouldn’t hurt to always drive carefully.
