Fined for speeding, called for "no signal"?

Okay a little over a month and a half ago I received a speeding ticket with a court date of Jan. 12. I have a memory the other day in the mail saying I need to show a ticket for failure to signal. This is definitely mine, was not sent by accident. But I've never been arrested for failing to signal. So basically I want to know, is there any way out of the entrance entirely through a miscarriage or something? I have the original speeding ticket all the information. It would be a great thing if the penalty for thus it was basically the same thing, but as I was wondering if there was a loophole that let me off the hook?
