HOW MANY TIMES I CAN DELAY A TRAFFIC COURT IN MA ? (SPEEDING TICKET) ?

MAssachusetts

i went to the magistrate and he found me responsible so i appealed to a judge … does anybody know how can i and how many times i can delay the court date ?

Ah yes, the ole “delay until it goes away” defense.

Nice try.

An appeals court’s sole job is to determine whether the trial judge (magistrate) made a mistake of law. As this is a speeding ticket, I can almost guarantee you that the trial judge did not make a reversible error.

So your ticket will not be reversed on appeal. You will probably get only one court date and you may not even have to attend before the appellate courts finds no error. A judgment will be entered against you.

Why don’t you own up to what you did and pay the fine?

Friday the 13th, Why don’t you all just stay out of the woods!!!!
