Massachusetts Lidar Speeding Ticket
2000
Got a speeding ticket! What to do?
Got a ticket today doing 85 in a 65 gun of a police LIDAR hanging in the middle of the eastbound 90 in Massachusetts. Hardly said a word to me and then gave me a ticket and went. I was not doing 85, but was probably making 75ish. There were several cars on my right and behind me doing the same speed and faster (on the right car I really do). I declined gradually to 65 but everyone else crashed to 50. I know that the LIDAR works in comparison to the slowdown that can make my top rated speed. Also I was not asked to sign anything, just said to pay or request a hearing, I know that I must sign the ticket before the police leave. What should I do? please do not tell you to pay premiums are an idiot if you pay speeding ticket anywhere … just looking for some opinions on the matter or tips on how to fight it …
There is no requirement for you to sign a ticket. That ended decades ago. You never leave the entry on the grounds of the LIDAR technology. Nor is it a defense against claims that others breaking the law. Finally, arguing that werent doing 85, just 75, is in fact an admission of guilt before the court, and the event will stand as written. Traffic court in Massachusetts requires that appear twice. Once you meet with the clerk (the official shall This, and all the tickets he wrote today have the same date of occurrence). The clerk will ask its history, while the police are standing there. Then the clerk will most likely offer a plea to a lower speed or different facts. Take it. Not worth coming back again to meet a judge, who will most likely maintain the offensive.
