Speeding

Please help me. I go to court for a speeding ticket Wednesday.?

I got a ticket i like about a while ago but first of all im a minor (17) and i got a ticket which states (65 in 55 mph) Zone. The cop said i was going more but he wrote that down. Will he tell the judge that? Im in memphis Tennessee. He didnt give me a juvenile ticket, it was a regular one so my moms friend (which is a retired Lt.) said go to court for it. The amount of the ticket wasnt even specified. What should i expect when i go to court on Wednesday? If i lose will i have to pay the ticket that day or will they give me a date? How much money should i bring?

Why are you even wasting your time and effort going down to court for a speeding ticket. I got a ticket a few weeks ago and I just called the number on ticket and paid it over the phone with my debit card. I’m sure there is some contact number on your ticket somewhere that you can call and find out the payment amount and method of payment options.
