Speeding ticket in Michigan?

I was going 60 mph in a 45 just before it became a 55 mph … I called the court (as the fine is not my problem is to get points on my record and have my insurance go up) and said that the only way to have the points left is to get a lawyer and have a hearing formal. My sister got a ticket a couple of years and the police officer did not show for which he was expelled from the court and did not get any points on your record. Was hoping that this remains the case, and what should I do? I'm pretty sure that the cost of a lawyer is nothing compared to what my premium will go up to …

I have been in front of the judge in some traffic violations, and I did not need a lawyer. I just go, told me very well spoken, and often, you may the judge to take it easy on you. Tell him / her the situation, which will never happen again, which would pay the fine, and hope that it points into consideration. Advisment is almost as probation, whereas, if you receive no other traffic violations in a certain amount of time, fall off the record complete. If you are kind to the police officer, I'm sure if he / she shows, the official will say so to the judge. I also live in Michigan!
