Speeding Ticket. Car insurance. Help Please.?

Can anyone give me information on a 70/55 speeding ticket.( Huron County, Michigan) I just received a ticket earlier this a.m. Trying to get a price idea and any suggestions/tips how to go about not getting any points. I’m under my parents insurance. If I go to the court house and pay for my ticket how long before my parents will know about it? Via insurance….I would like to just pay for the ticket and it be swept under the rug without anyone…and I mean anyone finding out.

Don’t wait until court date. Go ahead of time and talk to the judges secretary and see if you can get the the charge changed to non moving violation. She/He may send you elsewhere and you may have to put some legwork in on this – ie, you may get some run around. 15 over the speed limit gets you loss of license for 90 days plus around here and / or $250 fine.
