Minnesota Speeding Statute
2001
Will a Speeding Ticket go on my record?
I was ticketed for speeding 83 in a 65 in Minnesota. I went to court and met with the prosecutor. I asked him if there was anyway to have the ticket removed from my record, and he said that he would amend the ticket to a 65 in a 55. He said that it’ll not appear on my public record because only going 10 over will not appear on public record and the only people who will be able to see it is courts, police, and the military. He said that no insurance company will be able to see it. I looked at all the statutes and couldn’t find anything if there was truth to this.
i think he was bullshhh with you.. speeding is speeding.. and it always shows on your record.. in fact the insurance company only sees the conviction of speeding ( no mph)
in california we take “driving school” to erase the conviction.. a one day safety driving class.. go to court and talk to the judge
