Speeding

Will speeding tickets in South Dakota and Minnesota affect my Michigan record or insurance premium?

I do not have a CDL. I am a lifelong Michigan residient who was driving out of state. Both tickets were paid on time (one of them right on the roadside) and my Michigan driving record has been clean for a number of years now. Just wondering if there will be any further penalties beyond the ticket fines (them Minnesota boys sure are greedy).

I used to work for an insurance company and they probably will have an effect every so often as your policy gets reviewed or if you go to a new company, be honest up front with new companies as they can research it very easily.
