55 in 45 innings speeding MN – I can have, did not report on insurance?

I recently received a speeding ticket for going 55 in a 45 in MN. I am a resident of Minnesota and this is my first traffic violation. I had heard that I can pay a supplement to prevent entry to be reported to my safe, right? Because I am unable to go to court because it will be out of town, but without going to court is there another way to handle this? In addition, I have 17, if that has any effect on my situation.
