If you live in Texas and the need to apply for a passport, there are several places where you can. In addition to hundreds of facilities accepting passport applications, two regional agencies are not located in the state. Read on to find that Texas residents can apply for a passport.

Since Texas is the state with the highest number of counties, it would take too much space to list all those which can be a center for accepting the request to be found. Counties that have at least three or more places that can be applied include Bexar, Brazos, Cameron, Collin, Dallas, Denton, El Paso, Ellis, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Hidalgo, Jefferson, Johnson, Liberty, Lubbock, Matagorda, Montgomery, San Patricio, Tarrant, Travis, Webb, Wharton, Williamson.

If the county where you live no longer appears above does not necessarily mean that there is no passport office is there. The best place to check is the post office, the county clerk or the public library. If you discover that no one, try searching in a neighboring county.

When applying for a new passport, you have the option to process regular or express service. Your passport must be delivered in 4-6 weeks if you select regular processing. This time can be reduced to 2-3 weeks if you choose to expedite implementation.

For situations where you need to get a passport in less than two weeks, you may request a regional passport agencies located in Texas or through a service accelerate private. Either way, you can get your passport as soon as the same day.

Call the National Passport Information at 1-877-487-2778 to schedule an appointment at the agency nearest you. You can often take several attempts until they are served. You need to take the completed but unsigned application form evidence of citizenship, proof of identity, two passport photos and payment fees.

If you do not have time to make an appointment to visit a regional agency, you can get your passport as soon as the same day through of a private shipper. Since you can apply online for this service, it is necessary that the sender is in Texas.
