Nassau Speeding Ticket

I got a speeding ticket, new york state, nassau county, 70 mph in 55 zone, how will this affect my insurance?
if at all? i have 0 points, im going to go to court and plead not guilty, one of friends got pulled over about the same location, got 79 in a 55 and was fined 200 bucks and 3 pts…..so im probably looking at something simliar
so say i get 3 points….how will that affect my insurance? i have no prior offenses. will my insurance go up? or stay the same?

3Pt’s. It will go way up. No matter who your insurer is. Plus it will stay up till if comes off your record, even if you move or change insurance companies. Depends on the insurer how much it will go up and you need to ask them (your insurance company) how long it stay on your record. Oh ya, don’t try to hide it from your insurance company, the DMV gets a copy and has to report it.
