Overdue speeding ticket?

My husband got a speeding ticket 2 years ago while driving through Nebraska. We live in Illinois. He has never paid it and actually just found the ticket. Since the ticket we have never heard anything else about it. Should we ignore it still or should we pay it. Are we going to get a huge fine if we do pay it since it is overdue? It was $119.00. Whats the worst that will happen if we never pay it.

Your husband should have received something in the mail from the Illinois Secretary of State. Nebraska, and Illinois are members of the DLA, drivers license agreement. When you husband failed to appear in court/pay the fine, an automatic FTA, and a finding of guilty should have been entered. This information should have then been forwarded to the SOS of his home state (Illinois). He may not have a drivers license.
