My ISP is AOL'm destined to be getting speeds of up to 8 MB. although the maximum my line can handle 5mb speeds. at the time but I'm getting less than half of 1mb! I have a Netgear router (DG834G) and recently I upgraded the firmware to v4.01.40. router is 2 years old.
