nsw fines speeding
The P Plate Speed Laws From QLD Into NSW.?

Can somebody tell me if you have a QLD licence and QLD p plates (that dont show the maximum speed as QLD doesnt have a max you can do on your p’s), If you drive into NSW you have to do there P plate laws?

I was recently ticketed by cop down there for not following there rules bout it..

However I was told by a police officer here that you dont have to follow those laws down there.

Is the NSW cop correct or shall I appeal this fine :S…
I checked today when i changed my red to green p’s today (woohoo) and I was assured that you only follow the rules of state that your licence was issued in.
Therefore you CAN actually do 100/110 in NSW instead of there silly restrictions.

Now i can stick it to the NSW police hehe.

you have to obey the rules of the state you are driving in. even if your plates dont show the speed limit you still have to do the 90 or 100 regardless of where you hold you licence. take the fine on the chin. if you appeal they may make an example of you, increase the fine or suspend your licence. you are a p plater there fore you have a target on you no matter where you drive.
it sucks i know
