What happends if I avoid the court for 18 months does not give me points on my license?

Convictions remain on your record. "So I received a summons 11 points for speeding last year in January. So its been 16 months. and I'm not by the court up to 18 months has passed. Does that mean I will not get points? and If you get points when you are supposed to out? so I'm thinking maybe I found a loophole, but I'm probably pushing my luck.
