NY Speeding ticket not listed on the online system?

I recently got a NYC TVB speeding ticket (first one) for doing 60 in a 40 mph zone. I should answer the ticket in 15 days, and I can answer it online. I tried doing it, but it is not listed yet so I set up notification to inform me when it is listed on their system. I have still not recieved a notification from DMV, and I am on day number 23. Can I just let it slide, or should I pay it via mail?

I would go in person to the DMV to clear all matters properly,as paying via mail might not be the end od it…
