Out of state speeding ticket.?

I recently moved to North Carolina from New York. I will not be here so long and still I have my New York license and insurance through New York state. I received a speeding ticket 44 in a 34 mph zone and paid the fine. While looking through Online information i ran across some sites say that New York and Colorado did not put points on your license or registration accumulated from other states. Is this true?

Power. CN BUT you have in your system for speeding. Let's say you decide to make permanent. They may have a law stating that you have to take courses additional traffic due to the entrance.
