Pay Illinois Speeding Tickets
2003

Do I have to pay this speeding ticket that contains a significant error?
I have a California driver's license and a California car brand. Ago I was in Illinois and received a speeding ticket there. I was in a car registered in Illinois at the time (this car is not registered to me.) I gave the officer of my California driver's license and wrote me a ticket. As for the entry I made a mistake by stating my driver's license as an Illinois license rather than a California one. Any other information on the ticket is correct including my drivers license number, but I think this mix up was a State large. Do I have any influence in this case?
If it says you are from Cali, anywhere on the ticket, then I would say congratulations. I work in insurance (Mostly self-responsibility) and is a very small chance that your ticket once they connect to your DL #. Of course it is not "legal" per se same. So if you are trying to "so the right thing", then only pay.
