How best to fight a $347.57 ticket in Milwaukee, WI?
I was pulled over going 69 in a 50 mph zone. I honestly thought that the speed limit was 65 as it was a highway area. My ticket is $347.57 and I do not want to pay this and find it excessive. My court date is April 27th, 2010.
I was looking for the best advice anyone can give on fighting this ticket.
If the cop shows up in court, you will lose. If he doesn’t, plead not guilty because without the cop as a witness, there is no case. But make sure he isn’t there before you plead. If you have to plead guilty, ask for driving school to keep the ticket off of your record.
