Can a police photo radar van to give a ticket if you are speeding while driving with them?

Yes, the police can simply say he was speeding and going to the same speed. It need not refer to his radar, only the speedometer. You, however, have the right to require police to submit records showing when the speedometer and found to be accurate. My son followed about 1,000 feet behind A soldier of the State of Michigan, which was about 80 mph. He reasoned that the soldier was going to a safe speed so that he could too. specious reasoning! Police arrested him and gave him a speeding ticket and, at trial, said he was just 80 mph on official business and that my son was at the same distance behind him for more than 10 miles. The judge fined me $ 120 child. If my son had a genius lawyer could have argued that the police could not, from 1000 onward, precisely the state if my son was making it or falling behind or exacrtly how fast he was driving. My son, however, was a student university at the time and I knew everything – $ 120.
